Early Morning New Bytes
- Delta Airlines is going belly-up, to declare bankruptcy by Wednesday. Pretty soon we’ll all be walking everywhere.
- California utility workers short out entire city, left dark for hours. No, no! The red wire goes on the blue connector ... or was it the green wire?
- Full text: John Roberts gives moving opening speech to Senators. Unfortunately, Ted Kennedy had his hands over his ears and was screaming “la-la-la-la-la-la-I-can’t-hear-you” the whole time.
- In Ohio, Sheriff’s deputies removed 11 children from a home where they were locked in cages less than 3 1/2 feet high. Their foster parents claimed it was for the children’s own good. I kid you not.
- On the Louisiana coast, the shrimp and fish are gone and the oysters are mixed with mud. If the okra crop fails as well then all us gumbo-lovers are doomed.
- Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
