  1. Golly!!  For a moment there, I thought I was reading the “National Review On-Line” or the “American Spectator”!!

Hope the readership of “Slate” remains small so that the Donks don’t wise up!!

  2. Bela Pelosi, High-wire Harry and the Deaniac, whatta combination LOL Those three dickhead dickhead dickhead aren’t qualified to swab out the toilets in the Halls of COngress, let alone actually “represent” in there…

  3. Rat Patrol:  On the contrary, I believe that they are better qualified to swab toliets than they are as representatives of a democracy.

  4. They could be used to swab out the toilets with… (I know, a preposition is a terrible sthing to end a sentence with)

Whether or not they are qualified to perform latrine duty is still debatable wink

  5. In Washington a “gaffe” is when someone slips and tells the truth.

Despite the bitchin’,*** Washington is like TV, or The Mob—it gives up what we really want, not what we say we want.  That’s depressing, isn’t it?  I mean about Washington. The Mob doesn’t bother me and I can turn TV off.

    *** mainly from OCM

  7. What’s scary is that someone on the Dark Side is using their gray matter . . .

    http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/commentary/la-oe-brooks10mar10,0,3686493.column

has another take on the same topic.

Hopefully, this is just a fluke and the ones in control of the Dems won’t deign to heed the words of mere citizens, even if they are Dems.

If not, I worry (momentarily) that the Dems might actually do something like get a Platform (other than Abortion Uber Alles) or try to go with a true Centrist (can you be Dem and a centrist).

Then I read about this morning of the Hildabeast returning a donation from Wal-Mart because they don’t provide healthcare to the nation - despite her having sat on their board back in her Arkansas days - more likely, the Clintons needed the corporate donation to advance to screwing the whole nation and now she doesn’t need them anymore.

As long as each and every one of them clings to their ‘issue’ (which usually causes them to change position many times over their careers) - the Dems as a whole can not make a Platform that has any real meaning and in times like these I don’t think their lack of values will carry an election of any merit.

The other real problem is that when Dems are true to themselves - they repulse most of America and won’t carry an election of any merit.

Wait, that means that there is no need to worry about the Dems.

Only way to worry is if we find OBL, Iraq settles into a peaceful state of being, Saddam is put on the fast track to a death sentence, and our economy/job market stablizes at a nice high point. Then Americans will become even more fat, stupid and complacent and might actually vote Dem.

  9. "Abortion uber alles..” LMAO

I can visualize Kerry, Pelosi and Kennedy hoisting steins at a Capitol Hill pub singing that, then when the rest of their gang arrives, marching down to the Supreme Court steps for a grand finale.
