Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe is fit to be freed from Broadmoor, according to doctors.

   How about to the hardware store?  Simple home repairs needing a hammer or a screwdriver?

2. This highlights the shortcomings of the insanity defense. It gets used as an excuse, not a deferment.

   Ok, you were crazy all that time. Now you’re cured as long as you take your meds? Great! Keep taking your meds ... because NOW you’re going to trial.

   Bet he has no problem picking up that skill set again. Riding a bicycle, slaughtering a cow; some things you just never forget.
