  1. Im more of a fan of the Kiezer era stuff myself. It has that sort of steam punk feel to it.
As for these silly folk, I guess history is so ‘last year’.

  2. Pathetic. Is it so surprising that when we start censoring ourselves forcibly and legally on certain things for whatever reason (the pain is too much, it is “belligerent”, blah blah blah) it is not that much a stretch for us to start censoring history itself of hings we find “troubling?”

And as we cut and dilute history to massage and soothe ourselves, are we truly to be surprised that one day, almost imperceptibaly, we make the jump between censoring history and outright destroying our connection to it?

And can we truly be surprised when- having cut our ties to our birthright, our past and history- when we face destruction by a foe hardened enough to abosrb the lessons of history- the good and the bad- and turn them against us?

And suddenly it becomes like the struggle over WWI scholarship, whereupon a chosen few on our side who still know the history fight against the sugary, politically correct lies- the pseudohistory- voiced by the many in a desperate effort it prevent the lessos ofthe pst from being lost to the ravages of time and mortal, ignorant men all while our far savvier and in many ways wiser enemies bask in our ignorance, our own self-inflicted Achilles Heel.

Such is the plight of the West today.

    This sickens me.

  3. Turtler .. Thanks for jumping in here.  How right too.
I wonder if the ppl who “claim” they were offended really were. Or, maybe they thought they should be. It is sickening.  Someone wrote in today’s paper about folks (liberals) who always find the need to be offended on someone else’s behalf.  A someone they do not know and never will know. As tho those invisible someones can’t take care of themselves.
A bit paternalistic from the same ppl who claim an aversion to paternalism.

Anyway ... good to see you back here.

  4. I think it is GREAT that people were offended by the nazi flag. EXCELLENT.

But don’t cover it up. No. SHOVE IT IN THEIR DAMN FACES AND FORCE THEM TO LEARN AND REMEMBER.

Show them every last aspect of National Socialism from the fake mythos to the eugenics to the government control of industry to the takeover of religion to the re-writing of history books and the indoctrination of students. And show how each and every aspect of it was wrong, while pointing out just how close life in the EU/UK is to life under the nazi terror. Heck you could start with the out of control local councils, the dustbin police, “anti-crime” Big Brother cameras everywhere, and the rotten British practice of ratting out everyone to the Gestapo local authorities, often for BS reasons. Maybe, just maybe, that would wake a few people up.

Then you could move on to deeper subjects, like Britain’s inherent antisemitism, and how Goebbels rules for propoganda are being used by your own government and media to silence any opposition.

The only true way to honor that Greatest Generation the Brits are so proud of is to make sure they didn’t fight and die in vain.

  5. What about the hundreds of people who are offended by the censorship or history?  Don’t they count?  I hope people hear of this and cancel their trips to the museum and write them telling them so and why.  When will come the time when we tell these oversensative jerks to go away or simply ignore them?

  6. The fastest way to rule the World is to make the people ignorant, dependent, in debt and amoral. The evil forces of the World are well on their way to completing the mission. However, read the Book - it doesn’t matter - it never works.

As some of you know - I have been wading through my family history in the form of family ‘stuff’ from my Mother’s home. I got the last of the storage unit last week.

I have a personal history of the WWII era - letters from my Dad to his wife & parents, letters from my Mom to him - letters my Grandparents wrote to their ‘boys’ (local residents also serving). Pictures and of course some of my Dad’s memorabilia (including his uniform). I have family pictures galore (of two families - his & hers). I have a State Department safe passage request for my Great-grandfather in 1903 - don’t know where he went or why he would need a safe passage paper.

But the most important is the actual family history - my Mom did research to become a member of the DAR and it also ended up the Mayflower society. So all that tracing backward (and finally the family connection to Lizzie Borden) is now mine. And in all of this is the story of her father who immigrated to America around the turn of the century. What I’d never seen before is a sermon he gave on a Sunday morning locally entitled - Why I Became An American. He was naturalized in 1916 after he married and probably after my Mom was born (she was born in 1916) - He understood what and why he came here - and he passed that onto his children. I also found the same story for my Dad’s family - a heart-rendering story of a family of 11 attempting to make a better life in America (it took two attempts to leave Germany before they made it to America, the first boat sank).

I want to honor them and the sacrifices - imagine my maternal Grandfather as a teenager selling himself into bondage to get to Canada as he had no one in the World left to call family and my Paternal Great, great Grandfather watching the boat under his wife & 9 children sinking - how can I not be willing to fight to retain the FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE that these people struggled mightily to achieve against all odds?

And the final two blows that these evil people have managed that is the root cause of the entire mess we are in - are the destruction of family - so that many, many more people do not grasp what I was raised in - to honor those who came before and the sacrifices they made to secure a place in the Land of the Free.  And the belief in God - for it is with God that all things are possible - even a teenager alone in the World or a man desperate to have a better life for his 9 children (the last child #10, Fred, was born in America) to succeed beyond their wildest dreams to achieve the Freedom & Blessings in the ‘New World’.

BTW, shhh, but I now have a Rising Sun flag - think I’ll put that up on a wall - like 9/11 - NEVER FORGET. Pathetic little cowards - who are going to get us all killed.

    God Help America
    A Proud American Infidel
