  2. Fuzzy, please desist from the name-calling here. You protest ad hominem attacks so don’t do it to others. And please stop trying to promote this so-called documentary about Murdoch. We heard you the first time.

  4. First: you have promoted this film in several other comments to other posts here. Do you really want me to list the posts you’ve made reference to this film in. That would only prove you’re a liar, and a bad one at that. I will if you insist. I have records of all comments on every post.

Second: I haven’t seen it so I cannot point out any false information in it. Maybe if I get a chance some day I will watch it as I am fascinated by Murdoch’s business skills and success.

Third: is the media “liberal”? It depends on which media you’re referring to. Most have a liberal bias but there are conservative and moderate media outlets out there also, so why use a blanket label for all of them? Yes, I know very well what fascism is. The word is derived from the Roman “fasces” which was the bundle of rods and an ax that the lictors carried around in front of the magistrates, consuls and later the dictator of Rome. Fascism usually refers to any authoritarian dictatorship that espouses racism, nationalism and government censorship - Italy under Mussolini and Germany under Hitler are the model for this type of government. What does this have to do with the current discussion? Are you trying to say America is fascist?

Fourth: differences between parties? There are many, my friend. Too many to enumerate here. That is why there is such a divisiveness in American political culture today. People aligned with each party find themselves with too many differences between them and their opponents in the other parties to find any common ground.

What’s your point with all this? Do you have one or are you just blowing smoke? Please clariify where you are going with your comments. I’m trying to follow your comments but you seem to be all over the board. I am asking you politely to explain your position a little more clearly so we can all maybe understand the point of your comments and the fisking of our reader’s responses.

Is that too much to ask?

P.S. If you decide to fisk my comments here and slice and dice the parts you think you can refute and ignore the rest, please don’t. That will piss me off and I will most definitely ban you from commenting further. Either talk to me rationally or take your attitude elsewhere. It’s your choice, pardner.

  5. It will never cease to amaze me that people in “fuzzywzhe"s camp constantly throw around the word “fascist” and attempt to apply it to private citizens or corporations. Apparently, they cannot make the distinction between a form of government vs. the private sector, nor can they differentiate between actual physical violence vs. the spoken word.

  6. And by the way, the WorldNet article is dead-on.

  7. Hey, Wuzza,

You and your pail, Fuzzy?  Yeah, I know, same person, right?  Anyway, how about some brevity, eh?

They say it is the soul of wit.

Given the lengths of your posts I conclude: 1.) you probably sit around late at night re-reading the shit you spout and 2.) given conditions of para. 2, you are witless.

  8. Well...I was hoping people would be commenting on the article...but I suppose not.  Anyway, I myself would just like to say that it’s nice to see an article that isn’t anti-Bush.

OH, and sir, if it’s too easy for you to “debate” with the people who read this site, perhaps you should go to a place where there are people “with a brain in [their] heads.” I say this not to be rude, but becuase I happen to like this site and I prefer not to read someone fighting (no matter how civil he may or may not be) with someone else.  So go find a place where you can argue with people you think are equal to you.
