2. Southeast Asia remained intact? Never noticed that Vietnam is now communist? Never heard of Pol Pot and Khymer Rouge that slaughtered millions? Next door in Cambodia? Odd definition of “intact”. What an ass biscuit.

   And, duh, wasn’t if AFTER the Hungerford massacre that their draconian gun laws were put into place? One guy went nutso with a gun, so let’s disarm the whole country, kind of thing? But truth will out: Robert Ryan owned ALL his firearms legally, and had strictly followed the licensing process. But he had to drive from one shooting location to another, so why not outlaw automobiles? Think how many fewer people would have died if he’d only had a pony cart to get around on.

   Ah peaceful, gentle Britain: isn’t this where the “no stab” knife was invented, and for a damn good reason? The place where roving bands of skinheads, chavs, whatever they’re called, run wild and stomp old people to death in the streets just for the fun of watching them die? The place where young girls brutalize each other to the point of suicide? Oh yeah, the land of blissful groovy unicorns of peace, love, and granola clusters.

   Violent political debate? Oh, I’m certain nothing like that has ever taken place in the vaunted halls of Parliament. No paranoia, no loonies and their gunpowder plots. Nope, never happened. Guy Fawkes? Who?  It’s a good thing they aren’t a thing like the Ukranian, Taiwanese, or Korean Parliaments, where robust discussion often leads to fisticuffs!

   Notice I’m avoiding mention of England’s never ending active prejudice against Jews, Irish, Catholics, and even people with strawberry blond hair. I’m sure none of that ever gives rise to any paranoid conspiracy theories. Even the royals over there are so well mentally grounded. So, how is Prince Charles and those UFO alien friends of his these days?
