  2. I would not take the link above too near face value, it misses out R Trevithick who, unlike the froggy actually made the first steam powered vehicle, even stopped for a pint on the test drive! (maybe the first impaired driver as they neglected the thing and it over pressured and blew) a replica runs most years in Cornwall, I believe a replica of Cugnot’s could not move due to far too little power, as predicted by the english steam enthusiasts.
