Witch Caliber?

 

1. 10 gauge Magnum , 3" shells will do the trick. Even Harry Potter would notice that and a trash bag would be a nice target too! If it doesn't work we will know it is Hillery.

2. Anything worth killing is worth over-killing.

   A cal.50 “Ma Duece” is appropriate for most any situation.  A four to one ball and tracer mix will work nicely.

Since I happen to think that it is just a trash bag (maybe purposely fashioned as a balloon, more likely just riding a thermal), I’d think that just about anything that had enough reach to hit it would do the trick.  Or not—if it were just riding a thermal (as I think it is), punching a hole in it wouldn’t actually knock it down.  It wouldn’t matter if the hole were .22 or .50 or whatever—it would just be a hole in a trash bag…

4. 6.8 SPC. Get a good mil dot sight, their motion seems to be constant, so you can time if.

6. I would hold fire until it came below the horizon.
   After all I’m not a Mooslem firing an AK into the air,
   and i do figure out of thirty rounds that i will miss at least once.
   Once clear, the ol’ Bushmaster 5.56 will take care of witches or garbage bags.

   Hmmmm, Floating Garbage Bag Range Targets??
