Peiper how many times do i have to say this YOU MEET THE WRONG PEOPLE, you drink in the wrong pubs ect ect, they did not mention the British dead in Iraq? Im not chompin skip, im sure peiper is a nice bloke, but his posts come across like “im a yank in the uk so every thing i say is right” most of the stuff is having a dig at the UK, it all sounds like a put down, i know this is a US blog but say if i moved to LA then started slaging off about gang culture or not giveing people canoes in New Orle?, i did ask peiper where he was, and would buy him a pint, but no way would i take him near a mcD or burger king to watch him gorge himself then rabbit on about nam.
If we pull out of Iraq, it will be the first fight we have run away from,and left dead boys for no reason, where the fuck do they do these polls? if we do pull out i will go full surrender and move to France (fuck the taxman) learn them some English and live happy ever after.
Bulldog you better get you beret and onions ready because when the Scottish cyclops takes over I guarantee you a “strategic withdrawal” will happen. Labour have cut back on defence spending as they always do. They are socialists and feel it is better to waste the money on useless twats like lesbian/gay outreach counsellors etc. etc ad nauseum. You should take a look at the Guardian jobs section for an idea on where all the tax money goes. I don’t like to say it but our troops in Afghanistan could come seriously unstuck and Blair and the rest of the shower will be to blame.
Skipper my take on this is similar to Peiper’s there is a lot of anguish over casualties and the MSM rarely if ever report on anything positive. They have been against the war from the outset and never miss the opportunity to undermine the government. You know I despise Labour and socialism, but when we have troops in harms way it sickens me the way the press ignore their achievements. If they carry on with this sucking up to Iran and Syria the terrorists (or should that be insurgents? The BBC’s favoured term) will be emboldened and more likely to cause trouble. At least the Pentagon seems to understand this. The British military do as well but the government hear don’t listen to them and send off troops here, there and everywhere. In the imperial days we could do this as we had thousands of troops all over the globe. Nowadays we struggle to recruit adequate numbers. Oh and Bulldog. Did you read the recent article about sixteen year old British kids being to fat and unfit for the Army? It isn’t just the US that has too many overweight people.
