So you’re a foreigner, eh? I noticed you had a funny name, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was just a suede-o-name.
I’m (conservatively) glad it’s hard to change the Constitution, despite my frequent urge to send decisions back to the Supreme Court with a tube of KY Jelly attached.
For example, flag burning makes me feel homicidal, but is it worth changing the Constitution for? I’ve never personally witnessed it. I’ll just accept my assault and battery conviction and leave the Constitution alone. Let’s let the states handle the gay marriage issue.
No way in hell, thank God, this naturalized citizen thing will pass.
While were at it-let’s send the abortion issue back to the states. that’s where it should have been decided in the first place.
Btw-Guy, I totally agree with your points.
Barb
Thanks, Barb. Here’s the quote that was in the back of my memory (All Hail, Google!)
“Danny Boggs, a U.S. Appeals Court judge, discussed the temptation, even for conservatives, to weigh the merits of a law rather than its constitutionality. Judge Boggs said he has thought of having a rubber stamp made: “STUPID BUT CONSTITUTIONAL."”
Ahnuld sucks...terminate him!!
