Great points except it misses the key one (which is ironically skewed in this particular - radical islamic terrorism vs the World - issue) is that ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ doctrine that appears to be the code du jour of the fiberals these days. So since the RITs (radical islamic terrorists) are agin the evil bushitlerburtonco - the fiberals will embrace them and not point out the utter insanity of a group that eats it own (after hacking their heads off) - since they ‘have’ to be good as they are agin Bush and his bushbots. . .
It is the same garbage that is going to destroy the RNC in America - well McCain is a Republican - despite selling out his fellow Veterans by his joining with Kerry on abandoning the POWs/MIAs to ‘normalize’ relations (i.e. trade agreements) with Vietnam, selling out the 1st Amendment with ‘campaign reform’ and attempting to sell out American citizens with the ‘Shamnesty’ garbage. . .but vote for him - he’ll be strong on the Natioal Defense and he’s a Republican.
This blurring of moral lines is crap and garbage and will lead to our destruction. It is not that I don’t believe in shades of gray (hitting a kid who darts out between cars is vastly different than driving so drunk you are going the wrong way on an Interstate, as well as vastly different than carrying a gun to a dance to ‘take someone out’) It is just when it comes to right and wrong, laws and the World - black and white on a National Level, shades of gray in the individual court room. [I hope that my meaning is clear there]
Michelle Malkin has a great article and commentary on a similar subject - the USO accepting a donation (calling cards) from Moveon.org - bad decision because you are on the slippery slope of putting a donation (Money) above values, beliefs and actions.
And when you move in that direction - well - you get what this article points out Human Rights Groups and Women’s Groups who aren’t and won’t speak up in the face of the very epitome of what they claim they are about?!? So who is the hypocrit, now? Who is the one who has no moral relivance? Who is the lying and manipulating the facts and reality?
In my mind it is not President Bush and his GWOT - it is the RITs who will kill anyone and everyone who does not toe their line (even their own - financed by drugs, how religious is that?!?) and the HR & W Groups who won’t even speak the truth on their most basic ‘belief’.
And therein is why this problem has escalated into the GWOT - too many f’in heads in the sands, too many people who wanted to pc the World into another World War rather than speak the words - Evil and Must Be Stopped Now. . .
The fiberals, appeasers and outright duplicitious liars are more at fault than Bush ever could be for the GWOT - as their inaction and silence allowed it to become what it is - Bhutto’s blood (as is the blood of 2,997 killed on 9/11, as is also the blood of the 4359 KIA in the GWOT) are on their hands simply for the fact they created the climate that allowed this to happen - much more than the ‘idiot’ from TX ever has or could have in just 8 months. . .

We all know right and wrong, that’s not the problem. The problem actually is choosing where we will each draw the line that we will not cross. The guy I like best in the election is Duncan Hunter. The only problem is that he has the chances of the proverbial snowball. So, who do I vote for that won’t make me sick and who can defeat the libs? I’ll vote for almost anyone who will keep Hillary out of the White House.
In the case of liberals, it’s easy to mock their skewed view of reality. A few years ago, the Palestinians used a donkey loaded with explosives to blow up some Israeli civilians. PETA protested the use of a donkey and said not one word about the humans killed and maimed.
You bring up a conundrum that has become the essence of the problem in America. The crapweasels in Congress slip earmarks, pork or some inane nanny state law (like the banning of incadescent lightbulbs by 2012 into the latest Energy bill) under cloak and darkness in a last second meet and greet and then wait until the last nano second to submit the bill - so it must be passed without a thorough reading and/or debate. . .And no one within the system is screaming foul - because they know damn well that one day they will use the dirty method to jam through one of their own pet projects or money scamming deals. . .And the people don’t know anything until about 40% of America is told about it after the fact and We The People don’t seem to have a viable solution or remedy to the situation other than voting for the lesser of two evils or not voting at all.
I just have to ask when the inmates got to run the asylum and why no one seems to give a damn?
I still believe that the majority of Americans - are not that damn stupid nor that damn uncaring. The politicos and msm led by the nose by the fiberals are just telling us thus is so to get us to STFU.
Out here in California, we actually have a viable alternative. There’s an initiative system for getting measures on the state ballot. Sometimes, we even pass some good legislation. A while ago, we passed a strong term limits law to get rid of some of our worst politicians. Currently 2 Democrats (are you surprised?), Nunez and Perata, both major forces in the state senate, have dummied up a 2nd ballot initiative that would keep them in office a bit longer. Those are the same 2 guys who stymied Schwartzenegger’s last couple of budgets and spent California into oblivion.
When the term limits law was passed, some of our politicians were wailing: “How can you do this to us?” Talk about clueless.
