  1. I think it’s great that Jefferson is Running and Nagin is supporting him! I’ll even wager that Jefferson wins (Remember DC Mayor Barry?). It would just continue to prove the point how dysfunctional, illiterate and racist the general populace is, in that district. I’m sure Bush put the money in his freezer,BLAH BLAH BLAH blah-blah

  2. Short answer because they are Democrats (you know the party of tolerence, for the poor people and redistribution of wealth [especially from those evil white corporate republicans]and absolute pure morals and ideals).

Long answer, I am now firmly convinced that a number of people vote for these criminals and allow this crap so that they don’t feel so WRONG for their personal behavior. The vicious cycle of mentioning (i.e. reporting) the horrible, deviant behavior that goes on (in reality one in a zillion times) yet implying that ‘everyone’ does it or needs to do it (as in abortion) and thus it lowers the civil, social, moral and legal code so that it does actually become the norm and therefore these people vote for these people because we are them and they are us.

Except that the majority of Americans are not them nor are these lunatic criminals Us. Which is why they only become the ‘majority’ by illegal, immoral and fraudulent methods. And of course the endorsement/support of their ‘buds’.

  3. Everyone nowadays expects the donks to be criminals, vermin and scum, simply because most of them are.  Therefore, exposure of another shred of their debris doesn’t raise an eyebrow any more.  Par for the course.

The decent and honorable man is an ostracized exception among them now.  Joe Lieberman could tell you that.  So could Zel Miller.  And so could anyone who jumped the fence since the scum (i.e., hard left) element began their takeover with the McGovern Convention.

When the donks are in power, the gutter is in power.  And they revel in it.

    wink

  4. And by the way, I notice that Nagin said “until he’s indicted,” instead of “unless.” It sounds like he isn’t necessarily presuming innocence on Jefferson’s part himself!

    LOL

  5. Hey, Tannenberg I didn’t pick up that in the first reading - notice the other hypocrisy - the Dem must always be considered innocent until proven guilty, while every Repub whoever talked with Foley must resigned because obviously they knew about his horrible behavior and yet, and yet there has not even been charges filed - let alone a conviction. And Foley did the honorable thing and got out of Dodge before the week was out. William ‘90,000 frozen assets’ Jefferson is still sitting in Congress.

Typical, liberal do as I say, not as I do.

  6. Typical liberalism at work.  On one hand we have an incompetent racist and on the other we have a corrupt racist.  Not much difference in job performance.
