WHOA HO --- I’M IN LOVE. I JUST STUMBLED UPON THIS …. AIN’T SHE NEAT?

 

1. OMG, that Caddy looks just like my Grandmothers. Except it couldn’t be it - she totaled it in the local strip mall parking lot when ‘the brake just kept accelerating the car, the harder I pushed on it, the faster the car went’ - 6 cars and her Caddy went into car hell. The local Police Chief showed up on our doorstep that evening and looked my Dad in the eye and said - Take her damn keys away. There was no replacement for the Caddy.

2. great car (the red one) didnt Hogg have a convertable one of those in the series dukes of hazzard?. I dont suppose the ellf and safety or local council nazis would like anyone running a business making cars there now.

3. Hogg had a classy car like this one?  ?? Didn’t see many episodes of that shows. Like a few maybe but don’t recall a car like that. ??
   Sure is a honey tho, huh? Some years ago I saw a replica on display at the Chicago airport. 1928 Mercedes. They had leaflets they were handing out, and at the time I couldn’t afford anything like that. But I kept the photo/leaflet for some years like a love struck teen.
   The styling of the classic car but with better engineering and parts etc. They had a cream colored one there and also a maroon model of a different shape. They could either build it for you or you could DIY. Inflation and age still put it out of my reach. What was 3500 back then is prolly 4 times or more now.

4. So you were a car junkie! I never would have guessed. If I get the chance I will send a few pics of some of my freind Marks collection of 60,s muscle cars. Its taken him 25 years to get these by swap and up trade and most need some work but all ran or still do.Heres a taste of some by name; 70 440 Cuda convertible,70 Challenger R/T 340,69 Ford Torino Cobra 428 SCJ,72 Olds 442,65 Olds 442 Convertible,65/66/69 Pontiac GTOs,56/57 Chevy Hardtops,65 Corvette 396 Roadster,69 Roadrunner HT,70 Roadrunner convertible,67 Coronet Hemi R/T,69 corvette 427 HT,69 396 Camaro HT,,,and around 5 or more I cant remember right now. Feel free to feel envy or jelousy as most of his freinds here do.Im just the guy who ends up making them run right when he gets a hankering to clean one up for a road trip.
