2. Why are they giving this stupid bimbo so much publicity?

   ‘Cause it’s easier and cheaper to cover this non-controversial non-story than to report the events of the day. So many “news” organizations have closed their international bureaus for economic reasons that this is about all they’re capable of any more...and the audience, in general, laps it up.
