remember when it was north carolina getting it for a time there.
Well I made it through Frances with only minor incoviences. I only lost power for 3.5 hours. I had cable and DSL until yesterday. Just got DSL back, still no cable.
Yards a mess, but the worse news is the youngun has the whole week off from school.......
We’re still having rain, the ground is saturated and a lot of roads are flooded. We are seeing a little bit of the sun here and there.
I really don’t want another weekend of this so hurry up and shoot the butterfly.....
Just got down from raking the whole yard (a little under 1/2 acre), cleaning the gutters, giving a major league haircut to many of my bushes and I am POOPED!!!!
I lost count of the number of wheelbarrow-loads of crap I raked up. Good thing I have a large compost area!
Yea know the feeling, but you’r a better man than me and number1 son Vilmar. We only did the front of our 1/3 acre freehold.....
My neighbors both have magor limbs down in their yards so we got a little chainsaw time. Gainesville has a massive tree canopy (hence the Tree City nickname, was Hog Town before it was Gainesville). Makes for a lovely place but as a community we’re paying the price right now.
Good to hear you came through relatively ok.
That butterfly must have got the message it had a price on it’s head cause looks like Ivan will be doing Jamiaca man, instead of Disney World....
