  1. Well you got a screamer of a computer and it’s considerably cheaper than a jeep liberty.

  3. Peiper, thinking like that will get you into some serious financial trouble pretty quick. grin But it’s nice to be envied once in a while.

BTW, the iBook survived the surgery just fine. Now sports 100G hard drive, 1.2 Gig ram, Mac OS 10.4.6. I honestly think my upgrade to 10.4.11 caused my hard drive to crash. Won’t do that again.

The iMac came with 10.4.10 installed, with a disk to install Panther (10.5). I did install it, then quickly wiped everything and reinstalled 10.4. Seems most of my shareware add-ons are not 10.5 ready. Or maybe not dual-Intel processor ready. Naw, it’s 10.5, they work fine on 10.4. Bet Macker will know the kind of stuff I use if I mention unSanity, Donelleschi, etc. Can’t live without DockFun and ShapeShifter!

  4. I love the new iMacs! Isn’t that the way it always is about the time you buy one something nicer comes out! I’m on a MacBookPro 2.2. You’ll love the extra RAM! Mine screams with 2 Gig. I haven’t upgrded to 10.5 yet either.
