This idjit was on NPR today (know thine enemy...).
He literally said “when a scientist testifies before Congress, the White House has to approve their testimony, and if they don’t like it they’ll change it.” Dianne Rheem (sp?) did a double-take and he said “yes—they changed my testimony” then went off on some tangent about “John Sununu.”
Someone e-mailed about his “carefully picking data to support his pre-determined objective” and he basically invoked the first-grade “I know you are but what am I” defense, accusing his detractors of being the ones who committed this sin against science.
Look up the Dianne Rheem show on NPR dot org—I bet you can find a podcast or transcript. I had to go to an appt, but what I heard was mind-boggling.

Yeah, because nobody has invented the tape recorder or video recorder or CSPAN yet. So it can all be faked so easily and we’ll never ever know.
Drew I wanted to add something but your comments pretty much sum up what I was thinking. If this “genius” is so clever why hasn’t he invented the perpetual motion machine already? One of our DIY chains here was recently selling “wind turbines” they have a pathetic output and cost about $2000 how long will that take to get a return on the investment? Sadly part of the problem is the decline in numbers of children studying science. It’s too hard. So they opt for nonsense like sociology, politics (left wing naturally) or “media studies”
LydonB - I have to take exception to only one smidgon of your comment - . . .politics - I have two not quite ‘children’ who have gone that route (so-to-speak). My oldest, well because his military career took a strange turn in Iraq - he just got his Masters in International Relations (think military/diplomat)-
And my youngest went to college to become a HS teacher. It did not take her long (’requiring’ a 5 year college plan to meet the ‘required’ courses, ‘required’ to join a union, ‘required’ to have a Masters and so on) to change majors. Her main professor is impressed as she came to college knowing all the Royalty of the World, how to pronounce Iran and Iraq (hint, most msm don’t say it correctly) and who the major leaders of the World were - most students don’t even know their own. . .- she speaks 3 languages too - will be taking Greek this fall. (btw, homeschooling does have it advantages and positives)
Both of them see America turning corrupt (politics) and way too far left and want to do something about it, on the conservative side.
What the fiberals don’t get (much like the race baitors who are addressing everything negative about Obamanation as ‘racist’ and the GLBTer’s who label every criticism as ‘homophobia’) they are pushing too far and the blowback is going to be worse than they ever imagined.
We have a number of Veterans putting their hats into the ring (my fav is the one running against Rep. John Murtha (Traitor)) - LTC William Russell! Maybe now for the first time, Murtha’s constituents will hear the truth about what he’s said and when he said it. . .
We The People can take this country back - heck the Supremes just voted with the evil Bushitlerburtonco against the enviro-wackos to allow the Fence to get built - sometimes even they get it right. So the rest of us can - as long as we keep fighting - for Mom, Apple Pie and the Flag.

Sorry I got lost in the moment - btw, in response to the vapid science this Hansen idiot is pushing - go here - we stumbled on this, as the young man graduated from my daughter’s college and was in the quarterly magazine - I am praying my son really considers this (as he lost the fingers down to the first meta carpal and his thumb on his left hand [burn] - no surgery and 3 weeks to complete) - just another way God works mysteriously - and proof that ingenuity, invention and great minds still exist in America (despite what the fiberal left is doing to squash them):
James Hansen Is now certifiably batshit crazy. Since he is in charge of the NASA GISS he is the voice of global warming bullshit. I have noticed that It is illegal for government employees to do this political crap. Notify your congress critters about this lapse of abiding by the law for this government employee. I know I am pissed that my taxes are paying his salary, and he is also a recipient of large sums of money from Soros.
