What’s everyone complaining about on BMEWS? According to this report, USA is soothed. ??

 

1. Don’t be swayed Peiper. This author is full of it.

   The 100 Days news conference was a total crock. There could not have been more slow pitch marshmallow questions. It was disgusting. The only thing I took away from that was a new phrase in government doublespeak: “disproportionally impacted” actually means “got far more than their fair share”.

   Obama’s poll numbers are not that great, and are falling. Oh sure, the media is still eagerly down on it’s knees. But they are increasingly laughable. And little by little, even the typical Democrat voter is waking up to just how arrogant and left wing this guy really is.

   Inside the Beltway, who knows? And who really cares? That is not the real world.

   Look, nearly half of America doesn’t pay income taxes. Maybe a hair MORE than half. They are all in favor of O-nitwit because he’s sending the sugar their way. And then there is a small small group of really rich lefties who can pay anything asked for in taxes and still be rich. Those are the Obama supporters. Everyone else who has a job and has to make a bit of effort to make ends meet is not a huge fan. But this is the group - a HUGE piece of America - that is ignored by the media deliberately.

   Yes, the Republican Party is in disarray. Because our “leadership” seems to be cut from that same grip of super-rich folks, and they are trying to reach out to that same grip of nearly untaxed citizens, while they also ignore that same huge piece in the middle. And that piece in the middle is more Conservative than our leadership, by far.

   I was watching that bloviating gasbag O’Reilly on Fox News. “Limbaugh doesn’t speak for Republicans”, he says, “Ann Coulter isn’t the voice of the Party.” WRONG ON BOTH COUNTS Bill. He does, she is. Because nobody else is right now. And we love Newt too, but all of us are smart enough to know that none of these three are perfect, so we take them all with a grain or two of salt. And we continue to wait for a real GOP voice to emerge.

2. Swayed?  Not me friend.
   The writer is I believe a liberal or leans that way anyway.

   Liberal. That reminds me.  I think I got something from Chris but I don’t know which one as I believe we have three.  ???  I didn’t recognize the email addrss.  But he writes something quite interesting on the subject of liberal which really does match my thought expressed a long time ago right here.  Which was ... the real liberals are more then likely
   conservatives. But I think liberal like the word gay, was hijacked. Or should that be word-jacked? 

   Five years ago when still home we used to watch Mr.O’s Talking Points at the beginning of his program. But all the rest was too painful or embarrassing to listen to.
   You see thru him like a window.  “Bloviating gasbag?” LOL
