Your honor, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, please take a look at my client. This is a sweet precious young girl. I say “girl” because she is only ten years older than the student she had sex with. She is still a child herself in many ways. Her life is now ruined because of a youthful indiscretion brought about by the cold and emotionally isolationist attitude taken by her husband, a man who has, since the incident involving this student, deserted her and run off in her hour of need, leaving her to face the harsh criticism of the entire world by herself. Alone in her shame, undefended by anyone. This poor little girl now sits before you only partially aware of her “transgression”. She is suffering from all manner of psychological bruises from recent experiences, not least of which is the brutal torture of living with a man who didn’t love her and who has deserted her - after he promised to “honor and cherish her until death do them part”.
I ask all of you members of this jury to take a close look at those innocent blue eyes and that baby face with smooth, pure blonde hair and bring back a decision to allow this young girl to go free. Do not heap more punishment on her. She has suffered enough for having allowed this 14-year-old boy to seduce her and now stands alone, deserted by her husband.

Of course all of the above is pure horse-shit. This is just another dumb blonde bimbo. I can see it in her eyes. The only person in all this who is stupider is her soon to be ex-husband who was insane enough to marry her in the first place.
She will go free, Vilmar and you know it. As I demonstrated above, there is all kinds of fertile ground for a lawyer to play the “victim” card, the “oppressed woman” card, the “she really is a child herself” card, the “deserted woman” card, and even the “seduced by a horny 14-year-old horn-toad” card if they really want to stoop to new lows.
The only way to get justice in this case is if she and O.J. Simpson get together and get married after she is cleared and released. If that happened, I would say it is proof of God’s existence.

I’ve taken anti-depressants for years; the problem runs in my family. So does diabetes --tough shit. Having sex with 14 year old kids does NOT run in our family. Having depression or diabetes is NOT a choice. What you do about the problem IS A CHOICE.
