What Matters To You?

 

1. Just a clarification. My vote on “Gun Control” of critical refers to the need to fight gun control, gun registration, and gun banning efforts at every opportunity.

   I assumed control meant “control!” i.e. gun-grabbing, so (as an NRA member) I voted “not important”.

   Gentle suggestions:

   1. Clarify the meaning of the questions,
   2. Add an option to view the results directly. I’d be interested in viewing them later, when more votes are tallied.
   3. Add Eye Candy question so I can vote “critical”.

   BTW: GOOD survey! Good idea. Why don’t other sites do this?

3. These are not questions but topics. Answer as to how important the issue is to you. If you are very much against any kind of gun control (as I am) then it is critical. By the same token if you are very much for gun control (as asshats are) then it is critical. This poll is simply trying to find out how important these issues are to you, not what your position is on them. We’ll get into that later.

   Other sites don’t do this ‘cause we’re the best!

8. Got this was trying to see which topics were of most important to all. Was somewhat surprised that #12 was not (so far) ranked higher by the voters, and that #6,7,10, and 18 were as high as they were.  Oh well, tis still early in the voting, perhaps things will change.

11. My concern is Original Sin. 

    A myth is an attempt to tell a ‘truth’ in story form. Take the Garden of Eden, for example… I bet the old guys wondered by every good human endeavor goes straight into the crapper if you turn your back for 5 seconds.  Say like this blog, for example.

    Right here, I read something about Easter. All this Christian crap that I try miserably to follow has inconvenient rules.  Like loving your asshole neighbor, like your asshole self.

    For example, me having to apologize to that Stoner Bastard OldCatMan.  Not that he wasn’t too fucking out of it to be offended.

13. I’d like to point out that my vote on the United Nations issue as “Critical” means I think it’s critical that we evict them completely from our country and our affairs. Otherwise, they can all F.O.A.D.!

14. I have made the same error as Cheese_tensor regarding the topic of gun control.  I believe that I might have made a similar error on the UN topic.

    All states need “right to carry laws” and we need to boot the UN.
