2. It’s now a NATO led operation top to bottom, and I expect to hear lots on the news tonight on radio.  All this talk about “protecting civilians” might soon be coming home to roost, as I heard a report last night from the Ivory Coast where there is fighting going on.
   A person being interviewed (on a phone patch) was hollering about “civilians being slaughtered” (ten in the town) and how badly they needed a no fly zone and asking for help from NATO and the EU.

   Ah ... the old civilian ploy Cato.

   Then the BeeB interviewed a supposed Catholic priest who claimed to be hiding in his church with many,many people (civilians) who are hiding from Laurent Gbagbo’s troops.
   The person on the BBC asked how many people, and the reply was ...
   Thirty Thousand!  How many asked the BBC again. And again the priest (?) said 30,000.

   Does anyone know if there’s a church that large in the capitol to hold 30,000?
   But the mantra was repeated again and again.

   Civilians are being killed.

   Some other ppl are now asking if the insurgents in Libya made it to Tripoli and started taking revenge and killing the civilians who supported Gaddifi, would NATO then turn on them?  I asked that a day or two ago but I’m not the Lone Ranger with that question.
