I’m sure it was an ambulance full of women and children. At least, it was full of dead women and children AFTER it exploded. Seemingly dead at any rate.
These vermin do not hesitate to use “innocent” civilians as human shields. And they have known for a very long time that Western forces are usually unwilling to target an ambulance or a Red Cross (Red Crescent) truck. And so those vehicles are used ALL THE TIME to transport weapons and supplies.
Nor are they unaware of the value of propaganda, especially to the same West who has a media that is largely anti-Semitic. We have seen this many times for many years, at least as far back as St. Pancake. Their “oh look what the terrible Israelis did to us this time!” videos are almost always contrived. I recall one from 3 or 4 years ago that the blogosphere covered heavily (remember granny with her handful of live ammo that was “fired through her house”? And Islamic Rage Boy showing up in every crowd?) where the same dead bloody child kept appearing in scene after scene all over the place. And then some pictures emerged of the kid walking away afterwards.
Recall Gulf War 2 and the invasion of “the holy city” of whatsitsname. Hordes of unarmed civilians (all young men in great physical condition but none in uniform!) nearly rioting in the street to prevent Americans in a tank from blasting the local mosque. Which - surprise!! - turned out to be packed FULL of guns and explosives. AFAIK our guys STILL operate under an ROE that forbids them from blasting those places. Problem is, the pisslamic culture doesn’t attach the sanctified reverence to mosques that we do to churches ... and they’ve been playing the “hide the guns under the koran” game since the days of the British occupation. Leon Uris wrote about this very thing in his semi-fictional historical novel The Haj, and yet decades later, here were the Americans, falling for the same old cock and bull.
Young men in great physical condition...sounds like all those lawn care illegal immigrants doesn’t it?
