1. They can’t even guarantee these half-wits can even speak English. The company responsible G4S used to be Securicor then they took over a US company called Wackenhut (may have been the other way around. Anyway they used to provice “security” for the Home Office and they still have the contract. They are saying that this will cost them £54 million. What they really mean is that they will stiff the Home Office when they next put in the bill. I odnt see the losing out on the deal.

   Also this reminds me. Speaking of English. I am often embarrassed by the atrocious standard of what passes for “English” by English nationals passing comments on web sites. If you recall Bulldog and his frequent struggle with the language you will know what I am on about. Mind you I suspect he was half drunk most of the time. Most Americans of my acquantaince have a far better grasp of grammar and spelling, even if they struggle occasionally with a few words like colour. Even Polish people I know are better than many Brits. I feel its indicative of just how low we have sunk as a nation. I fear we have gone past the point of no return because these bozos will begat yet more of their ilk. It’s a vicous circle.

2. Lyndon has been talking to my wife me thinks. I hear an echo.

   Lyndon, all the years we have been married, and yesterday was an anniversary, she has not generally been the ranting type. Even if angry with me. Not that she hasn’t been shy about showing anger from time to time.  But rants were never her thing.  Until we returned here and over the years my how times can change one. Do not mention Blair or the Labour Party and the 13 years they had to bring rack and ruin to this island.
