  1. These are the IMMIGRANTS that have, are and will make America the great country it is. People who see the opportunity, the freedom, the willingness to do for others - not to take for themselves.

And still the liberals screed on about how awful things are and how unjust America is - perhaps they just might try going to other countries of the world and leave the comfort of the hotel and resturants and really see how it is and how a vast majority of the world would DIE to be here and FREE.

    - can you imagine having that kind of pride - makes me feel humble.

GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS THESE NEW AMERICANS

  2. About 500 folks are taking the oath at Seattle Center today!

And the Discovery got up perfectly well.

How many non-citizens have fought and died for this nation? I recall the sacrifices of the Irish who fought on both sides of the Civil War. The movie “Gods and Generals” presents a very tearing sceen during the battle of Fredericksberg as union Irish troops of Meagher’s Irish Brigade (69th NY) attacking the stone wall on Marye’s Ridge against Confederate troops many of whom were also Irish.

  3. Yes, I have no problem at all with people serving in the Military overseas possibly getting a faster track to citizenship.. after all by joining the military, they have pledged to defend the United States of America and Honor ir..

  4. Wardmama I remember Stokly Carmichael saying on return to the United States “I’d rather be in jail in the United States than be free in another country.” This after being a leader of the Black Panthers and trashing the U.S.. See what a trip to a communist country can do for moonbats.

  5. I remember seeing the fence between East and West Germany - comeon we all ‘knew’ about the wall in Berlin - but who heard about the fence? It was such a shock and eye opener to me.

I remember my first trip to Frankfurt airport (two small children in tow) two Polezi with uzis came around the corner and I really panicked - should we dive under the seats, were we in the midst of a terrorist attack - looked around and everyone was just strolling along. That was usual stuff there back in 1980 - man were we here in America clueless on some things.

Living overseas really made me appreciate what we have here in America.
