Uriah Heep
Who?
Nah .... my stuff was done in an age when performers didn’t swallow a mike to make an impression and words to songs were all understood. My ppl didn’t make it look like playing a Git-Tar was hard work and look pained while playing. Musicians really did know their instruments and created music as opposed to sound effects.
I was actually kinda referring to the original Uriah Heep:
Uriah Heep is a fictional character created by Charles Dickens in his novel David Copperfield.
The character is notable for his cloying humility, obsequiousness, and general insincerity.
From the Wikipedia entry on Uriah Heep.
Just thought you might be familiar with the reference…
Oh .... Never mind. (sheepishly)
I missed the movie.
