  1. As Obama often says under his breath “Allah hu Akbar!” The reasonous son of a bitch.

  2. yeah, I understand.  Barak the Great has found a fresh new way to promote Jihad around the world.

I’d wondered how Obama was going to top the destruction he wrought in his first 4 years.  He re election based on class, gender and race was an incredibly grotesque capper.

In a very perverse way, I like what Putin has had to say.  Obama is no statesman and no diplomat.  He only understands the moves of an urban community organizer, he has no clue about international politics.

  3. Can somebody tell me how this is not treason?

Could it be because nowhere in DC is an official document that says al Qaeda is our enemy?

Or are they playing a great game of Pretend, and convincing themselves that the Syrian rebels stand for peace, love, all kinds of tolerance and freedom and democracy ... and only side with AQ out of emergency need? Can President Janus really be so two-faced? Of are they being really douchey and pretending that our enemy is “Al Qaeda” while the rebels are merely aligned with “ul Kaida” and therefore it’s a different group, so this is OK?

  4. I hate what Obama has done to our country.  I hate the divisiveness, I hate the racial bigotry and I hate how he has destroyed our standing in the world.

Previously, some people liked us, some people hated us, but either way, we were respected and generally managed a mostly decent way in the world.  Given the world, that’s a major accomplishment.

With Obama, it seems that more people than ever hate us, our allies don’t trust us and our foreign policy has become a bad joke.  Besides Putin lecturing Obama like Obama was a backward schoolboy, did anyone notice that the Chinese bluntly told us to stay out of their dispute over the Japanese islands?  Can you imagine the Chinese telling Ronald Reagan to stay out of their dispute with Japan?  How about either Bush?  I can’t imagine them saying that, even to Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter.  For a chuckle, imagine the Chinese saying that to Dwight Eisenhower, Lynden Johnson, Richard Nixon or John Kennedy.  Somehow, I can imagine our Pacific Fleet doing a lot of training in the area of the disputed islands.

I grew up in a United States that was the richest, most powerful country in the world.  That’s a pretty good way to live and I want it back.  Even with our screw ups, the U.S. has been a great force for good in the world and the world’s been better for it.

As far as Syria is concerned, I’m cynical enough to see a good argument for backing Bashar Assad even though he’s a very nasty dictator.  In the long run that would be better for us than backing the rebels.  If the rebels were dominated by secular, democratic thinkers, I’d argue for backing the rebels.  However, they’re not.  The Syrian rebels are dominated by Sunni Moslems who regularly take time from fighting Assad to terrorize and slaughter Syrian Christians and Shia Moslems.
