2. Well, I guess later is better than Never. And sorry Peiper, but maybe this just my problem. But hope is durable for me. Good on Croatia.

   As for Orban protesting a violation of international law… Let me just say: HAH. Orban wouldn’t know what *Domestic* law is if it slapped him between the eyes. And he is almost certainly worse versed in international law (which is already a tangled mess).

   He and his stooges lost the privilege of me taking what they say seriously years ago; external sources or didn’t happen Vikie.

3. Turtler, I have no choice but to accept what you said re. Orban. You are as usual, way ahead in these matters. Apparently you have a history (no pun intended) with this subject. Til recently, I never had heard of him.  Betcha most Americans hadn’t either. Maybe in passing, a name mentioned on TV news as as quickly forgotten.
   What specifically has he done, or maybe not done, that has him on your bad guy list?

   No doubt you folks in USA are getting plenty of news coverage on the invasion by migrants instigated by Frau Merkel.  May she get a cramp in her tongue.

   Surely you can’t fault the govt. in Hungary or any of the eastern states now fighting among themselves over this.

   This invasion is truly a major disaster for Europe. It’s been reported btw, that just 1 in 5 of this swarm of immigrants, is actually from Syria. The rest from the usual places and they aren’t the engineers and rocket scientists Merkel was hoping for.

   There have numerous cases this week, of (mostly young men and boys) angry at delays and demanding entry, who are throwing stones and anything else handy at the polce.

   And oh boy you should see the mess they leave behind them. Trash everywhere, and everywhere they go looks like a dump. Oh ... and a good number these poor deprived
   and hapless ppl, somehow have the money to take taxis, can you believe it, from say a drop off point where they don’t want to be, to where they want to go.

   Anyway .... I’d really like to know about Orban and any other comments or background you may wish to share.
