  2. Steyn is interesting, particularly his comments about the blogosphere and its effect on politics.

    He observes, however, that the leftist blogosphere has, in effect, maneuvered the Dems farther to the left.  If that is the same as maneuvering them into the open, I will agree with him.

  3. Tann: I agree that the blogospher is terrific at exposing crap—previously an angry letter to the editor was your best hope. I don’t disagree with the thesis, but I cannot see the mechanism for the Dems being pushed leftward by blogs. How is it different from their constant need to appeal to a coalition of fractured special-interest groups?  Similarly, the GOP must keep Evangelical Christians in mind.
