Warning on new IVF laws as single women told they can ‘name anyone’ as father on birth certificate.

 

1. The only persons who should be legally allowed to sign themselves on as the parents on a newborn’s birth certificate are the parents actual parents, who appear in person at the hospital to do so with ID in hand so they don’t sign up an unaware third party.

   Allowing one parent to sign anyone else on as the other parent?  This way lies legal and societal madness.
