Ward Churchill Update
Governor Bill Owens (R-CO) got lucky.
Got a story here with Bill asking for this Pesky Redskin’s scalp because of NAZI quotes, 9-11, and giving comfort and aid to all the rag heads. Colorado Governor Bill Owens is a real American and some say he should run for President in ‘08.
Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) probably thinks that he can break the mold of; a Senator can’t win the Presidency, by saying, “Hey I’m no ordinary run of the mill schmuck Senator but clearly a cut above. Why just yesterday on FOX News I endorsed Personal Savings Accounts (PSA) to save Social Security. Plus, I reminded everybody the “Big Guy” in the room was Medicare Reform and how we needed to tackle that too. Plus, people in Western Iowa read the Omaha World Herald and they see my picture all the time for years and years. Plus, I thought VP Dick Chaney was going to pick me to be VP before he picked himself, that wasn’t fair. Plus, I was the Shruu of McCain’s mad dash in the 2000 election cycle. Plus, I have already purcashed all Domain names like HAGEL ‘08 so I got to run.”
Sure Hagel would be tough to beat in Ames in ‘08 and he was my Senator for years but Owens could just deminish any intial win with, “Hey - Hagel’s home town is Omaha, right next door. So his win in Iowa means nothin’.” OR better yet for Owen if he could say, “Hagel what a weenie. Can’t win his sister state of Iowa, pathetic.”
So Hagel has nothing to gain from Iowa and everything to looose. Personally I’m from Ames and I really like Hagel and his hero Nam record. Hagel and his brother are true Americans. On the other hand if Owen started calling Hagel a “Husker” and reminding everybody that Coors is from Colorado he would be tough to beat, we hate Huskers in Ames. We call them Bug Eaters. And I lived in Denver for ten years and Colorado people don’t drink that swill but Iowa people love it for some reason. So Hagel’s team should point that out that “Natives” don’t drink Coors because they know it takes a case to get a buzz.” I’m just sayin’ Central Iowa folks who pick the leader of the free world in ‘08 listen to a lot of rumors, like my 81 year old mother who watches CNN.
Now if Governor Jeb Bush ran in ‘08 I would of course support him because he has a proven track record of winning in Florida, and that’s important. But Barbara, his MOM, says he can’t run. So I guess that’s out unless it’s just a Carl Rove trick to keep it a secret.
Hero Senator Chuck Hagel said, “The Big Guy in the room is Medicare Reform and we need to tackle that tooo.”
Of course Chuck is talking about Tax-Free Health Savings Accounts (HSA) as an OPTION in Medicare.
Together, the tax-free HSA and PSA is President Bush’s Ownership Society.
I hope the President points out tonight that Social Security is not FAIR to Black women because they get nothing when their husbands die.

A counter to “Roosting Chickens” (everyone’s favorite article right now) that is based on the false premise that the US military targeted water purification plants during the Persian Gulf War can be found on Lexis-Nexis. Go to Get Document and input the citation 97 AJIL 481. If you have to read “Roosting Chickens” this will make you feel better afterward. Enjoy.
