VOTE!

 

1. I already voted, by mail.  I voted to maintain our current type of government, and not change to a socialist form we hope might work.

   I’ve been praying for a very long time now for the future of our country - ‘our country’ being the United States, just for clarity.  (For all my British unmet friends, I’m praying for your country as well; in some regards our futures are linked.) I hate to admit my lack of faith, but my stomach is having fits.  But God is still in charge and His will is supreme.  I have to constantly remind myself the Kingdom of Heaven and the United States are not synonomous. 

   As I write this, it is close to 0800 AM, Tuesday, 4th November 2008.  At least the suspense will be over by tonight and perhaps I can get a decent night’s sleep again.
