  1. Ah Mr C, the beauty of the Nanny state!  These people are too dangerous to be allowed to wander unsupervised.  The sorry point is the number of idiots that will agree with him.

  2. 120 billion a year comes out to $400 per person, per year, for womb to the tomb health care.  Can you imagine the quality of government health care you’re going to be getting for that?  You think Canada has problems, wait and see what happens here if this takes place.

  3. You WILL get preventive care, or you will be prevented!

  4. And let us not forget that this will be the first step into telling us what to eat, when to eat, an outright ban to smoking, sugar and anything else that the nanny state deems dangerous to our health - and then the nextstep will be refusing services to those who do not chose to have the nanny state tell them how to live and the finalstep will be the nanny state determining who should live and who should die.

Remember these are the same psychotic people who want to ban the death penalty but embrace and want to expand abortion and euthanasia to the euphemistic - quality of life decision - again made by someone other than the soon to be dead person.

It is a good thing that he is such a Silky Pony or he could be dangerous. I wonder how Liz will respond to all the attacks on this newest utterance of her ‘man’.

  5. What’s the penalty for failure to comply?  Does John want to throw me in jail for failure to report for health care? Will hospitals issue warrants for people’s arrest?  Will I be fined because I’m .....

    Hey.

    Wait.

Why would a health care trial lawyer concern himself with expanding the health care part of the legal code?

    Anyone?  Anyone?

    Class?

  7. Canada is populated by 33 million people.  The United States is populated by 301 million people (+ god knows how many illegals).  You think Canada’s health care system is flawed, imagine a bureaucracy 9 times that size and you’ll get the Obama/Edwards/Clinton ideal.

This scheme amounts to the biggest power grab in history with the less fortunate being pulled ever closer to the government teat.

    Wake up people!!!!
