  1. It looks like a bribe to me. And not really a big one either. 1 million tons of fuel oil is enough to heat 560,000 homes for the winter; it’s only 4 or 5 tankers full.

After 60 days I expect the NorKs to try and “renegotiate”. In other words, cheat. If it takes them that long. This is just a pay off for a couple months. All it probably means is that their nuke research and enrichment programs will be moved to the secret locations for a while; if this agreement does not include the West physically removing the uranium from NK then it’s just BS.

  2. Bolton’s comments are actually pretty illuminating.  “Needs to look strong.”

For so long our security has been predicated on the appearance of strength.  Look at TSA and DHS, for example.

Instead of having a real border enforcement policy, we have unarmed National Guard.

Instead of profiling at our airports, we have the TSA harassing old women and CAIR gets a behind the scenes look at just how useless our airport security is.

America needs to BE strong.  We will only get that way by removing the current crowd in Washington.

We had the chance in Iraq to show the moslem world what the results would be of dicking with us.  What they see is indecision, weakness in the face of barbarity and a total willingness to screw our warriors.
