1. Ireland is infested with Al-Qaeda terrorists.

   Surprised?

   An Algerian at the center of the so-called Jihad Jane conspiracy unexpectedly pleaded guilty during an Irish proceeding on Wednesday that may hasten his extradition to the United States on terrorism charges, a court official said.

   Ali Damache, who has lived in Ireland for a decade, pleaded guilty in court to a single count of sending a menacing message by telephone to an American Muslim activist, according to a court official in Waterford, Ireland.
   Damache was Colleen “Jihad Jane” LaRose’s contact in Ireland. She stayed with Damache as she stewed over her inability to kill the blasphemous cartoonist Lars Vilks. Colleen’s friend from Colorado, “Jihad Jamie” Paulin-Ramirez’s flew to Ireland and married Damache on the day she met him, but later regretted the decision.

   It’s not clear exactly how involved Damache was in the plot, but Colleen has suggested to reporters that although the plot was partially Damache’s idea, that she was mad at him for not being urgent enough in his zeal to kill Vilks.

   Interestingly, as soon as Damache plead guilty he was released from custody for time served. Immediately following his release, he was re-arrested on an extradition warrant and will now be sent to the US to stand trial for the more serious terrorism charge.
