  1. I am sure that I can speak for all members of BMEWS when I say stay safe, Vilmar..... Allan, the same for you if it heads up your way.........If we should lose contact due to power outages, we will pray for your safety.....
Now for your theory- it’s probably all due to those trolling moonbat’s that keep showing up under different names trying to wreck havoc with the most popular of ALL blog sites- the BMEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, BTW- GO CARDS!!! Go Jimmy Baby with 40 HR’s and 300 career HR’s......yeahhhhhhh!!

  2. The name of this blow says it all .....
    FRANCEs.

Vilmar, if I’m not mistaken the plural of
salvo is salvos. I could be wrong.

As long as I’m here and nit-picking, hey
    Dottie, that would be ‘wreak.’

Almost forgot, (happens when you get old)
for the life of me I cannot remember what
BMEWS stands for. I recall seeing it in
    tons of traffic.

But that was a very long time ago.

Go to talkleft. Those folks are self
destructing. Just can’t stand it. They
know the handwriting is not only on the
wall but damned near on their foreheads.

Wish I had a commodities account open ...
I’d be sellin’ some juice and buyin’ some cranberries.

  3. cool smirk  I can understand the storm going after Vilmar, after all he lives in Florida. We laugh and scoff at Huricanes (the ones that miss us that is).

Ever wonder though if you’re living right since it seems to be drawn to you ... cool smile

  4. Steel- you really must be getting the “oldtimers” disease.......you don’t know what BMEWS stands for??????  Will give you a clue- Take a look at the name of the blog.......duh......Have you got it yet????

  5. Jen’s at Ft. Jackson S.C.-basic training. I wonder how far inland that is. We’re midwestern babes, and she’s not used to hurr/himmicanes. I’d love to “experience” one. Jen, would agree-just NOT during basic snake You “east-coasters” get to have all the fun! *whine*-oh and GO CUBS!
    BARB

  6. Steel: no spelling errors on my part.  Lighten up.

Ric:  in a testament to my powers as Benevolent Dictator, these things do not DARE mess with us too bad.  We let them blow hard and drop water but draw the line at that. cool grin

ALT:  “himmicanes” You SEXIST!!!!!!  But if they were “himmicanes” would men consider them to be homosexuals?  After all, men who engage in big “blows”.....well, let’s leave it there!  red face

Also, you DO NOT want to go through a hurricane unless you do not live in that area, are there temporarily, are in a good shelter, and have means to leave right afterwards.  Some people here still do not have power 3 weeks after Charley, their roofs still leak, they have no water.  Daytime temps in the low 90s, high humidity, and millions of mosquitoes at night making sleep difficult.  That’s NOT my idea of fun!

  7. I have lived through many hurricanes while growing up on the southern coast of Rhode Island..........however we never experienced the magnitude of Charlie and Frances and, it seems, Ivan, if it esculates..........I feel so very bad for the citizens of Florida......
