Sadly you still see it today - all the pricy war toys lined up neatly in row after row. Nothing ever changes - see Washington DC. The only thing that has changed is that the leftist truly believe their crappola - and with the media playing CYA for them - and no ‘real’ outrage - they think that they are in for another 40 years which would end America as we know it.
They seem to forget that how many Americans joined up after Pearl Harbor? ‘google’ Jack Lucas - who lied his way into the Marines - with a promise to his mother - that when he returned from WWII - he would finish hs - or should that be go to high school? These types of people still exist in America - for every Medal of Honor recipient - there are probably 5 to 10 more who do equally as brave (and usually life ending) ‘beyond the call of duty’ (No, that isn’t a new video game) actions - which don’t meet the ‘criteria’ for a Medal of Honor.
The John F Kerry’s and John Murtha’s are outnumbered a million to one by those who truly honor their oaths and completely understand and abide by their duty to put their life on the line for their country.
The sad thing is - that these leftist who want to emulate so many socialist/communist countries fail to mention that most have forced conscription (i.e. the draft for those trolls out there). And the children (and in many places the adults too) are forced to recite pledges to the government - and all the things that they don’t want ‘forced’ on them in America.
And the stupid sheeple buy their lies.
Oh BTW, FDR - put a signed note in the Bibles handed out to the Armed Forces (my Dad’s sits next to my computer) and Admiral Nimitz’s congratulatory telegram to the Forces in the Pacific - would be considered hate speech today (that is locked in a fireproof safe).
And the stupid sheeple don’t have a clue about the real history of their own country. Or the real conditions of the countries that these lying liberals want America to be ‘more’ like.

Wardmama you are right- again! and (giving all credence to Dian Wests book) FDR now produced the “europe first” policy and sold it to the sheeple! if he had not Hitler would have taken out the communists, the white Chinese would have been in better shape to destroy the reds who would not have had support from Russia, ever by then most of the genocide was on its unstoppable way and the world would have been a better place. Didn’t JP Morgan and Rothschild bankroll the russian revolution?? ugh what an unholy mess the world has become! our kids have so much to do Im ashamed.
