Union Games At TSA

All flights will be grounded ... except those carrying critical members of Congress back and forth between their district and DC. Count on it.
Look on the bright side Skipper, at least this way the Muslimistas will know which are the most important aircraft to shoot down with their smuggled MANPAD’s from Mexico.
This issue, the way the Dems dug in their heels to get a unionized TSA and would NOT let legislation pass, thus risking us all, is why I am a 9/11 democrat. Fuck Rangle and Pelossi and the rest who were perfectly willing to let more aircraft attacks happen as long as they got a larger voting bloc.
Let’s compare and contrast, shall we?
At Srebrenica, Bosnia in 1995, the bulk of Dutch troops under UN authority who promised to protect Muslim civilians from the Serb army took their union negotiated vacation. The result was a mass murder of 8000+ people.
In 1981, the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization, or PATCO, went on strike violating the 1955 law that banned strikes by government unions {5 U.S.C. (Supp. III 1956) 118p.}. Reagan declared the strike to be a “peril to national safety.” He ordered them back to work, they refused and he fired them all, brining in military air traffic controllers.
Now, what is the difference between these two examples? Mostly, Reagan had a back up plan in the military ATC people. The UN had no back plan for a unionized army taking vaycay in the midst of a war.
As I recall, we used a lot of military to help screen people before TSA got up and running. And there were a lot of screeners who worked for previously private companies before. Maybe they could put it out, Bush or a Republican successor could chop it off using the 1955 law and reinstate the private companies under TSA oversight. Shrink the bureaucracy, incentivize the private sector, return some sanity to the system.
Naaaahhhh. Dhimmies like it like this. Gives them something more to bitch about at the party in power. Oh, wait, after January...damn!
