  1. Sounds about right to me. Alexander Hamilton was trying to create a system where the wealthy people of the country were tied to its wellbeing by tying them to the national bank with credit. I’m sure our modern politicians, in all countries, are aware of that. The only real difference is that “the wealthy people” has grown to include nearly everyone except the homeless, and what started as a national bank has become an international consortium of bankers that, among other things, owns the US Treasury via the Federal Reserve.
