  1. Rove charged
    Bush impeached
    Rumsfeld fired

    Yada
    Yada
    Yada

It is just one month over 2 years to the next Presidental election - you would think these morons would be more concerned with finding a middle ground [you know between conscious rational dems and the lunatic left] from which to launch a candidate who might actually be able to win the Presidential Election. . .but nooooooooooooo we have to keep beating the same dead horses to make sure the ‘stupid masses’ keep remembering that bushitlerburtonCo is the most evil enity ever to sit in DC.

    Meanwhile

Jefferson (D,LA) who was caught with $90,000 in frozen ‘assets’not charged nor removed is still voting
McKinney (D, GA) had to be nixed by her constituients after no one charged her or removed her after striking on Congress police man
Franks (D,MA) was not removed after his male ‘partner’ was caught pimping out of their apartment and Franks defense was ‘he didn’t know’

With Ted ‘a bridge to far’ Kennedy and Bill ‘stained dress’ Clinton leading the pack - the Dems are full of KNOWN criminals, who force Reps to leave at the hint of a scandal or crime - and no one in America is holding the real criminals accountable.

It is the most disgusting aspect of Washington DC right now - if Americans stood up and got rid of them all - that alone would raise our respect and admiration in the World.

  2. As Anonymous, correctly, indicated, Mr. Rumsfeld (whom I have met) serves at the President’s pleasure.  The loony tunes out there do not appear to understand: Mr. Rumsfeld does not HAVE to offer his resignation.  If the President says “go”, he’s gone. No issue. No resignation is required.

Mr. Rumsfeld is a terse, somewhat ascerbic and a no questions no-nonsense hold-the-bullshit individual. I can DEFINATELY see where he would rub someone wrong - especially many of the perfumed princes who attained senior status for old hide-the-sausage klintoon. Not all these warriors are of that category. However, when you get to that level (North of O7) you’ve got a little bit of an ego (or you simply don’t get that far). The egos forgets that Rumsfeld is the guy who makes the choices for the President - you don’t like it? Three choices: Run for Office, Retire or Resign. At that level I think they forget that they still have to TAKE orders too…

Rummy is the apotheosis of the NON-Politically correct leader. I’m only sorry that as a politician he can’t really say what I expect he would about the gnats in the press…

  3. Rumsfeld has been in error on some things! Holy Moly! What a revelation! That might mean he is human.

The generals speaking out against him are usually men whose careers were tied to programs and systems that SecDef ended or significantly altered. They are somewhat like the battleship admirals in the 30’s who were unceremoneously left behind as the aircraft carrier took over.

  4. Don’t sell the loonie lefts short.  They know more about the war than Rummy does.

  5. Rummy is a good, solid, conscientious man who has, as the Skipper observed, been forced to play his hand with soiled cards.

The Exalted Wenchmeister destroyed more of our military than all our enemies combined.  Hitler, Tojo, Stalin, Khrushchev ad nauseum could only drool over the dreams of doing the damage that the Wenchmeister inflicted on us.  Not to mention squandering it in penny packets on his legacy-building campaigns, in Kosovo, Haiti and elsewhere.  And especially not to mention straitjacketing the remains with political correctness, and poisoning them with the latest social experimentations held in vogue by leftist cranks and crackpots.

9/11 caught us at a time when the damage had barely begun to be made up, and it is hardly rectified yet.  The miracle is that they have managed to stretch their personnel and resources as far in the war on terror as they have.

A koomba-yah Maginot Line of lugubrious good intentions is no substitute for a sound national defense.  The Wenchmeister is not the first to make that mistake, and we are not the first population to pay for it.

We should not sidetrack one of the men best equipped and positioned to do something for us for a change.

Quite apart from that, Rummy is a burr in the sanctimonious ass of every wandering shred of leftist scum in this country.  If those vermin attempted to bring the Utopian Socialistic State to hell, I would side with the devil.

    LOL
