1. "Funny, these sheets of frosted glass are not mounted. They just sit there, lose in the wood framing. I guess that lets excess steam out. But it also lets bugs and dust and stuff in. Odd.”

   You might want to point that out to the building manager. You may get the job of sealing them.

2. 5 minutes with a caulk gun. II have no idea why they did it this way, but that’s how the place was built. Maybe it was a shortcut. Who knows.
