UK Does Something Right

 

1. What a bogus load of pure bull.  Everything just must have a racial element.

   Listened to an interesting program on radio last night, The Moral Maze. It’s on every Wed. night at 8.  One of the regular panel was questioning an invited guest on the subject of free speech as opposed to offensive, and made the point that people now a days are afraid to open their mouths for fear of running afoul of the speech police.  Worse yet, the truth about ppl who complain on behalf of other ppl has grown to a point where folks are looking over their shoulders to see who’s listening.  Not exactly the thing a free society is all about.  I could hardly believe my ears when the invited loony tune guest stated that political correctness was a good thing and helped make society a more polite one.

   Had they burned the former president, Bush , you’d have never heard about it or if you did, it would have been with much approval.
