  1. Here’s one suggestion which might make the Chinese think twice: allow Japan to re-arm.

  2. We will be fortunate if the Chicomms think even once, Macker.  They are the ones who are dreaming of a “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” now.  I will venture, in fact, that their position is now analogous to that of Imperial Japan in late August 1931.

    cool hmm

  3. AW. SHIT.

  4. Can we all say World War III - NOW? Come on, God only knows what Ahmadinejad is doing in Iran, Kim Ill has shown his intentions (thwarted though it was), Russia is slowly creeping back to it’s pre-Reagan jackbooted thugness and America is being systematically neutered from within.

    Go to
    http://michellemalkin.com/index.htm

and read - ‘The Immortal Words of 2LT Mark Daily’ (KIA 01/15/07)

2LT Daily and those of his standing are America’s only hope and I Thank God that there are still among us giants who can totally reverse their indoctrination to finally see and grasp the TRUTH.

These spineless, bds suffering, re-election/power mad, whimppy, whinny, stupid, uberrich, guttless, hypocritical, intolerent, racist, condescending, moronic, idiots now undermining the War, the President and gutting the Constitution are going to get us killed - all for their desire to create in America a socialist ‘paradise’ with them in control. While blithely ignoring the rabid dogs outside the door.

I was associated with the military long enough to realize that most of them - won’t let it happen. I wonder how the lunatic left (which has no guns and would not know how to use them anyway) are going to fight back. Oh yeah, in the media.
Take this thought in the coming battle - during Vietnam (you know the quagmire that these idiots so want Iraq to become) - the ‘anti-war movement increase exponentialy each year as the War went on and that there were 550,000 deserters during that time period. For OIF, the ‘anti-war’ movement has decreased in numbers as the War has gone on (despite what the ‘polls’ claim) and the Redress group could only get 1100 Active duty to sign on and less than two dozen active soldiers have ‘deserted’.

Goes to what I say about our current slobbering moonbats in ‘power’ - if the basis of your belief is a lie - isn’t any results, conclusions and ‘facts’ you claim at the very least suspect or even false themselves?

  5. China is the ultimate enemy. Always has been. Would they have been able to build this missile without Cliton’s help? Probably. They’ve been stealing technology for years now.

But what are they going to do with it, and their massive military? Retake Taiwan for a start. It would be mighty hard to stop that; China can afford millions of casualties. Vengeance against Japan for WWII? Guaranteed. While the rest of the world feels a 5 year plan is long term, China thinks in terms of multiple generations. What’s 100 years to them? They have memories just as long too. Even if Japan rearms it won’t make much difference. Even if they use 100 nukes, China can afford to take whatever hit Japan could give them.

Don’t forget China’s very slick “one child” policy of the past 20 or so years. Their government knows full well that Chinese prefer male children. That policy has given them a generation of 30 MILLION young males who have almost no chance of finding a mate. Couple that with the lack of jobs there, and you have an army the likes of which the world has never seen. They don’t need nukes. They don’t need tanks and machine guns. They can conquer any country they can get to simply by arming up with rocks and sticks.

There is simply no way to stop them other than nuclear or biological holocaust. Even if the West had the will to do so, the risks that the side effects would burn us pretty much rule out their use. Certainly their proactive use. And now China can knock out satellites, which means they’re very close to being able to knock out ICBMs.

Let’s just hope they annex Siberia and stay happy with that for a few more generations.

One out of every five people on the planet is Chinese. Think about that.

  6. Anon 30% of bugger all is still bugger all. However the Chinese gdp is big and growing by the day. They now plan to build an aircraft carrier. Also they have signed a 15 billion dollar deal with Iran for natural gas. This and the combination of a Russain death spriral spell bad news for the future.

  7. I think it’s time to ressurect the ASM-135.. ( http://www.astronautix.com/lvs/asat.htm )it’s a shame they killed the program back in the late 80’s.. one could only imagine what we would have now had we kept the program going..

  8. Hmmm, we had a missle developed during the 50’s (Bomarc) that would be a great booster for our ASAT weapon that was abandoned as being too agressive.  I realize that if we took an old design and upgraded the avionics/guidance package that we would have a killer weapon system.

  9. Yup, it’s a shame the ASM-135 was cancelled.  Judging from the size, we’d probably need to keep the F-15 in the inventory to launch them.  I doubt the F-22 has the right hardpoints fitted to carry a missile that size, and a BUFF can’t do a supersonic climb last time I checked (don’t think a B-1 can climb supersonically, either, but could be wrong there).

Of course, the real issue is our heavy dependence on sats for just about everything.  Even if we could kill other satellites, the effect on red is not as devastating as the effect red has on blue from red’s ability to kill blue’s sats.
