  1. Very interesting. This sent me off on a search about what tanks were used, when, where, and how. Amazing how “tiny” some tanks were back then, and how lightly armed. But against infantry the concept works: a bulletproof mobile artillery platform.

    And I didn’t even know there were such things as Firefly variants of the Sherman tank. Or M551s. And so on.
