Trying To Deal With Losing (without losing it too much)

  1. Sorry that your bowling is becoming a pain - rather than a enjoyable break.

    It’s how I feel when something I cook or bake goes awry. By now, I should nail it every time. Nope, not even close.

    I made a tune souffle - it is the dish that made me fall in love with cooking in college. There was a little cheese leftover in the shredding (it was a small block) - so I threw it in too. Nope - not a souffle - a tuna and cheese puddle. However, the taste was perfect and now the hubby got to taste what lead me into cooking. I can’t remember another damn thing from the class - except the tuna souffle. That was Friday nite. Yesterday we made a steak (thin sliced pieces) with spices, demi-glace, tomatoes and green onions - served over creamy corn risotto. It was delicious (one of the Home Chef boxes). Really good - and with the two of us - hubby did the steak and I did the risotto it went well and quickly.
