Callous bastards alright ... but OTOH, if they’d whipped out a pistol and put the horse down, people would be loosing their minds that the gypos were going about with high powered guns in their pockets. Even if they’d had a syringe full of ketamine or whatever that horse dropping tranq is, they’d get it for having illegal medical paraphenalia and drugs on hand.
They can’t win here. But. They shouldn’t have to “win” because they shouldn’t have been playing. Horses aren’t for street racing. Besides, the cost of those drift horseshoes is outrageous, and nobody ever knows where to mount the turbo and the nitrous.
Awful people - and I hear that K is becoming a ‘party’ drug - it would be nice if those people simply killed themselves but they almost always kill innocents while merrily they go along free to create havoc and mayhem where ever they go. I’d talk about the cost of the horses and taking care of them - but obviously these people steal most of what they ‘use’.
