  1. WooHoo, That’s great. A good escort for the scale model B-52 I saw a while ago.

One question, though: Why are there Air Force markings on a Navy plane?

  2. Good question, Stin. I was wondering about that too. I saw the USAF markings on the wings first and figured it was an AF bird. Then when it turned around and I saw NAVY on the fuselage, I got confused. Perhaps this is a trick by the Army?

  4. Stin, Skipper, I didn’t see any USAF markings; just VF-1 Wolfpack and the double-nuts CAG markings.  Did you mean the barred star on the wing top?

  5. Two questions:
    1) Armament?
    2) WHERE DO I GET ONE?????

  6. Yeah, that barred star just looked wrong at first. I’ve done a little research now and I see that I was mistaken.

  7. Unfortunately, that B-52 crashed during an exhibition. I watched the video from it. It was very sad. It just flipped over in the air and nosed right into the ground. Made a small boom upon impact, as I recall.

  8. That B-52 was a beautiful piece of work, too. Just Damn.
