  1. There comes a point when you worry TOO much about stealth.  I mean.. after the first week or so, nothing will touch us in the sky.

  2. I wonder if this thing got the same kind of attention from the Russians as the Space: Above and Beyond Full sized Hammerhead Model they used for ground shots for the tv show? IT seems that some KGB guys thought the Aussies and the US were trying to build a new stealth fighter when word leaked out of the existance of the “Hammerhead” fighter and they actually sent people to take pictures of it on a ship as it was sent from one location to another.

  3. In all seriousness…

Last summer at an air show I went to they had a F117A Stealth fighter on static display, cordoned off and guarded by two M16 wielding soldiers. You could only get within about 10 ft of it but you could still take pictures.

With that in mind, I have to think ‘If they’re letting us see THAT up close, what in the bloody hell are they working on NOW?’

  4. Severa, we could tell you but then we’d have to shoot you.

  5. Concur.  When I was in the service, my security clearance was so high I had to contemplate shooting myself sometimes for having read what I read.

  6. Awesome looking airplane, Allan. It looks like the Navy and Marines can fit a lot of them on the deck. Though it also looks like important parts would break off on a Carrier Landing.
