Only the Lord knows what other atrocities he had committed without being caught! He did not seem remorseful during the execution just tired and mentally prepared. I have no problem in forgiving those who are truly sorry but this guy was not truly repentant.

This was bullshit. To execute a murderer 24 years after the fact & after making him a hero. Oh yeah, the racial angle, too. Equally great deterrence and justice would be to sentence them to death on their 100th birthday.
Let’s either reform capital punishment or go with life without parole.

Sheesh. How disgusting. Thanks for pointing out the fine print at the bottom of their sign, Skipper. I otherwise would’ve missed that little snake in the grass, which I’m sure is why they printed it so small & at the bottom. Is there no low to which the ISO won’t stoop? How do these bastards sleep at night?
Could Rev Jesse name the victims? Apparently some LA talk show host “harassed” (called to account) the Rev in the supportive crowd and he, of course, had no idea.
Had this been that gutless coward Tom Metzger, founder of the White Aryan Resistance, who’d murdered black people including a whole family of Somolians and called them “skinnies” like Williams called his victims “Buddah heads,” these same coolaide drinking idjits would be demanding his death!
The Crips have killed over 10,000 people in LA alone! How many blacks have the Klan killed? They dress up in their kids’ bed sheets, use superduper secret words, burn crosses, get drunk, stagger home and mostly that has been it. But not Williams’ pals whom he refused to denounce.
His books have sold less than 400 copies, and I’d bet most to his dunce cap wearing supporters. They are of no social value, much less effect.

Sigh… I was listening to National Peoples Radio in the car. Tookie, they reported, was pleased with his new status as a peacemaker. And, he came to realized that he had only killed black people. I turned it off at this point, so I cannot report whether this was seen as a bad thing per se or merely becaused it was not balanced out with a quota of white people.

If you ask me, the death penalty should be administered after a brief appeal to make sure that everything is hunky-dory, would should take a week, at most, and then fry the bastards. But that’s just me.

I have read none, OCM. Seems buying that asswipe’s books becomes popular only in death. It would be interesting to see what he actually said, but given his activities behind bars, it is all a fraud for the myopic and self-loathing race pimps and media whores like Jackson. Jackson met with Williams twice and tried a third time. According to Jackson’s own people, he was there to “lobby” Williams to be one of the 5 people Williams could choose to be among the 20 witnesses. Williams not only turned him down but refused to see him the third time. Even a murdering thug like Williams knows a whore when he sees one.
That’s how I really feel.
U2 et al—I’d be open to two appeal courts. One two make sure proper proceedure was followed—e.g. was his lawyer drunk during the trial? Another to simply ask, “Is it certain the sumbitch did it?” Two hard-assed reviews, that’s it.
Maybe someone has a better idea? Remember, there have been over 100 (?) men freed when DNA proved, I mean PROVED, they could not have committed the rape. Executing an innocent man is unthinkable.

You know, this certainly isn’t the first death-row story where the inmate was touted as
‘changed’. I would even go out on a limb to say that when faced with their new (and in my opinion IMPROVED) behind the bar lifestyle or their impending demise, many of them begin to search for things eternal.I don’t think that because they changed and/or lived a good and inspiring life after said change, that they should be excused the sentence handed down previous to this new life changed.
The sentence was for the old life and it was binding. That was it. You can’t undo that and I am not sure why the left thinks that the “good and changed” life is enough payment to cover their previous debt. I thought we were EXPECTED to live a virtuous and law abiding life. I didn’t know you could get extra credit for it!
I have to echo the sentiments, though, that the system as it is, isn’t much of a deterent to crime and probably shouldn’t be argued/defended that way. It is a penalty...a price to pay...not a deterrent. Not 20 years after the fact.
I note that they misspelled “satan” in the upper left sign in the picture too. Buncha dummies.
Yeah, don’t get between the rearend Jackson and any media swarm. It’d be worth your life.
