Today’s Lie

  1. And of course they always go on with that “10 years before we see any benefit” bs.  We would be 20+ years into the benefit if that argument had been ignored when it was first used.  Hell the last time gas was high they used that argument. It’s a lie, but say it wasn’t. We would be down to 6 years right now, instead of 10 because nothing happened.  Realistically, we could have oil being produced within 12 months. Enough to make a dent. And if we had a few new refineries going, we would be on our way. Effing politicians anyway.

  2. The Obama energy policies are full of fail.

Down here in SE Florida, they spent $400million on a solar energy plant and in the first year it’s only producing 1/3rd the power they promised:

  3. I’m sitting here reading while listening to Firesign Theater. Rather works, doesn’t it when one considers Obama’s rejection of reality.

    I can’t wait for the 2012 election.

  4. I personally know some people - and just average joes (ok the IBM psych/U0fMD professor was not an average joe - odd duck all the way) - who set themselves up for life - via oil (both drilling and production). Anyone - anyone who knows a single person who went to Alaska for their oil boom knows it. TX & OK were the same. Where in heck do the idiots think that their beloved South Fork came from? Oil boys and girls, oil.

None of that matters at all - America could have at least been better set not to be dependent upon foreign oil, if we were allowed. To not allow the Keystone pipeline in a time of a depressed economy, no jobs, Middle East turmoil and rising gas prices is bad domestic policy at the least, treasonous at the best.

And when you combine it with the billions scuttled into ‘friends of Barack’s’ pockets under the guise of solar/wind boondoggles - it is even more reason to drill, baby, drill. And oh yeah - the traitor in chief has swung millions to Brazil and Mexico to drill in our offshores. This man is dangerous and must be removed.

    Nov can’t come soon enough.

  6. @tipper - “Where all Bozos on This Bus”?  grin

But wait!  His O’liness is taking credit for the up tick in natural gas production, all though all the development work for that happened 10 years ago.

Oh, but it gets better, instead of piping the gasoline up north, they are shipping it out of Houston and Corpus Christi to South America!

And they are still blaming GWB!  WTF!!!

I wish I was at home, I’ve been writing down gas prices in the maintenance and fuel log book I have on my truck (cars too) so could share some numbers with y’all.

  8. @Reiux - I could say that the liberal left bought into Everything You Know Is Wrong ! and be on point as well.

Seems reality isn’t their friend at all. I guess if we just started the Unicorns and Ponies For All drive all would be well. But then, we’d be tapping into Vermin Extreme’s fundraising base and I rather doubt he’d be into only having teeth brushing as a motivation for the Democrats’ base to GOTV.
