Today’s Demotivators

Sorry peiper. I couldn’t forgo making my own demotivator of the Royals. It was just too hard to resist… I do still have the blank. If anyone comes up with a better slogan/punchline, let me know.

  1. I like the last one the best. Three cheers for XML, where you can define your own tags. And that’s a nice data set those tags are carrying.

  2. Wow that’s some incredible programming.  The subject just makes it look so easy and fully understandable.  I’ve heard some say programming is an art, I think I fully understand now..

  3. Christopher, re your question on another post royal family.

Figurehead Chris. For some odd reason, the monarchy accounts for millions in tourist trade. I don’t understand that but it’s a fact.
Queen has no say but on occasion does advise. She hardly ever even gets to write her own speeches, the few she gives.  Royals aren’t allowed to give public opinions on govt. matters altho I’m sure she does so privately. They have less freedom as we know it, then the supposed “subjects.” By freedom I mean freedom of speech.
Charles has come under lots of criticism because he (rightly) believes that too much of modern architecture is shit, altho he wouldn’t use that cuss word publicly. And he’d be right if he used it.  Well, let me correct that last statement a bit. The criticism is because he voiced his opinion publicly, something his critics claim he has no right to do as he might influence public opinion and his comments are in fact they say, an intrusion into the public sphere.  Kinda makes one wonder why the heck anyone would want to be a royal at all.  Were it me I’m certain I would be tempted to say the hell with it. I abdicate.

On the other hand, he has also become a devotee of the gween kulture.  So many wish he’d shut up on that.
